How To Save $50 In A Month
Saving some cash is a serious struggle as college students and new graduates, but something we totally think you can get the hang of. All it takes are a few lifestyle changes, and by lifestyle changes, we mean cutting the crap out of your life. Making a few concessions can really add up big time. By cutting out small things like your daily coffee or seeing a really stupid movie, you can save yourself upwards of $50… at least. Here’s how:
Brew your own coffee.
You don’t need your grande supreme mega venti iced from Starbucks to get your morning caffeine kick. Opt for making your own coffee at home. It’ll be way easier on the wallet, and way healthier, too.

Bring your own lunch to work.
Lunch is expensive, man. Brown bag it and save yourself the cash. If your friends from the office are going out on a Friday, you should totally feel free to treat yo’self, but bringing your own lunch most of the time is going to save you bunches in the end.

Use your library card.
We know it’s super fun to Redbox a movie on a Friday night, or even head to the theatre, but if you limit yourself from buying movies only when you’re really, really dying to see them, you’re going to see your bank account grow. Besides, there are awesome free options for movies and books through your local library that you can easily utilize.
Total saved: $5 per Redbox, $12 per movie
Launder and iron your own clothes.
Those of us living the real world understand how far a nicely ironed shirt can go fashion-wise, but that doesn’t have to be a giant expense. Instead of sending your favorite Oxfords out for dry cleaning, become a stain-removing pro and iron them on your own.

Paint your own nails.
This one’s a biggy. Painting your own nails isn’t only fun, but way more affordable. Save yourself the monthly manicure, and also save yourself $15.
